About Kevin Manning

I’m Kevin Manning, a Qualified By Experience (QBE) accountant with nearly 40 years experience. I qualified as an Accounting Technician in 1995, and have worked in accounting and finance ever since. I have worked in a number of different areas including private and public sector, charities, healthcare and legal.

I am skilled using a variety of different finance packages including Sage Line 50, Sage 200, QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle Netsuite, Civica Financials and BAAN, some of these being cloud based.

My experience ranges from basic double entry through to the preparation of final accounts including year end audit file. Areas cover include Purchase and Sales ledger, credit control, VAT including filing of returns, Banking including Online Banking and Bank Reconciliations, Petty Cash, Credit Cards, Month End processes including accruals and prepayments, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, cash forecasting and budgeting, management accounts.

With regards to payroll I deal with all aspects from setting up the payroll from the beginning, running the weekly or monthly payroll, filing reports via RTI, year end process. I set up finance systems from the beginning and have been responsible for both manual and computerised payrolls from just a few employees to a payroll of 1250. I am also able to transfer complete manual systems to computerised systems.
